Lyvia Week Day 2 - heartache.

When Lyon left, shortly after, Juvia had arrived at her door step. On her door mat laid a bouquet of flowers and a card reading, ‘Happy Birthday’. A faint blush crawled onto her cheeks as she saw whom this gift was from and with a small smile, Juvia picked up the flowers and put her nose into the petals, taking in their sweet scent.

With a small sigh, Juvia let herself into her apartment and placed the flowers in a vase before stepping back to stare at the beautiful pink petals that rose up in the sunshine. They were very pretty and it was very thoughtful of Lyon to remember her birthday. But how could she repay him? He must’ve been long gone by now. Why didn’t he just come and find here? This wasn’t like him at all. Just the leave the gift and to walk away.

Tap. Tap.

“Hm?” Juvia flipped her head around, her blue locks flipping over her shoulder as she made her way to the window. Suddenly a smile appeared on his full lips as she opened up the window to get a better view of the white haired mage down below.

“Happy Birthday.” Lyon simply said, snaking his hands into his pockets while he softened his teal hues up at the blue beauty.

“Thank you,” Juvia smiled, “Juvia loves the flowers. Juvia appreciates the thought from Lyon-Sama…”

“You’re welcome. I hope you had a great day, Juvia-Chan.” His lips tugged a more wider smile.

“Juvia did…”

A nod was given from the ice mage. Lyon’s smile slightly faded as his words became softer, “I just wanted to say hi before I left. I hope you like you flowers, and happy birthday again, Juvia.”

“You’re going?”

“Yeah, it’s getting late. I was hoping to at least catch you before I left, and this works. I just wanted to say happy birthday was all.”

“A-Alright.. Have a good night Lyon-Sama.”

“You too, Juvia. Goodnight.”
